This person agrees to follow through with all of the job responsibilities listed below and conduct themselves according to the professional requirements listed below. Role Begins July 1st, 2026. Would be a 7:30 start, Monday-Friday. Pay will be $20-$23/hour depending on units and experience.

Qualifications:

Must have applicants with at least 6 ECE units or currently enrolled; however applicants willing to enroll in 6 units (2 courses) will also be considered. Candidates who have already taken or are currently enrolled in an Infant/Toddler Socialization Early Childhood Education course will be highly considered. Trinity Preschool is a Christian program based on supporting the whole family and therefore preschool staff must be sensitive, compassionate, mature individuals who are able to relate well to both children and adults. Trinity Preschool is a ministry of Santa Barbara Community Church and our primary goal is to reflect the love of Christ to the families we serve. Preschool staff must have the personality and ability to provide leadership and stability for program continuity. Staff are also expected to be involved in a church in town and have a Christian faith of their own. Responsibilities of a Trinity Preschool Teacher's Aide will include but are not limited to: Work with a Head Teacher Look for children on the fringe and bring them into play and group activities Treat children with respect and dignity in both words and actions. Maintain a tidy classroom Participate in staff meetings and in parent meetings when asked. Be present for all teacher in-service days and school events, as well as any scheduled professional development conferences. Maintain a positive professional attitude that demonstrates love, kindness and willingness to hear or learn from others. As well as a professional presence online. There is a lot of work with caregiving like diaper changes, changing clothes when they have an accident, helping put shoes on after the sandbox or nap, making nap beds, filling water bottles, helping them open their snacks and lunchboxes, etc. Is able to perform physical tasks such as lift children ages 2-5 years, bending to their level, etc. Willing to assume an equal share of the joint housekeeping responsibilities to upkeep the school's appearance and cleanliness.
