What You'll Do:

Support students and school staff in creating a safe, productive, and engaging learning environment by: Assisting students one-on-one or in small groups throughout the school day Supporting classroom instruction and daily routines Helping students stay focused, engaged, and on task Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff Providing encouragement and behavioral support when needed

Qualifications:

✓ High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred ✓ Must have at least 6 months of experience working in special education ✓ Experience working with children or teens in school-based, childcare, mentorship, or behavioral support settings preferred ✓ Ability to remain patient, adaptable, and professional in a classroom setting

References Required:

Two professional references from a recent supervisor or colleague One character reference

You'll Stand Out If You:

Have experience working with students in Special Education Moderate-to-Severe classroom settings Have experience reading IEPs and implementing accommodations and support strategies daily Hold CPI and/or ABA certification or training Bring a calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting students Adapt well to different classroom environments and student needs Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and families Are passionate about helping students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally
