The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in childhood development and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. As a Preschool Teacher or Montessori Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experiences of children ages 18 months to 6 years old, helping them develop essential skills through engaging activities and individualized attention. We offer training in all Montessori areas. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Utilize the Montessori teaching method to cater to diverse learning styles. Monitor and assess children's progress in areas such as math, literacy, and social skills. Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff through effective communication and collaboration. Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior while ensuring compliance with educational standards. Organize activities that promote physical activity, creativity, and critical thinking. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Requirements 12 units or more in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Ability to create engaging lesson plans geared towards the Montessori Method Experience with toddler care and an understanding of the unique needs of preschool-aged children. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young children.
