In this dynamic role, you will provide essential support across classrooms, ensuring a seamless learning environment for children of various ages and needs. Your enthusiasm and flexibility will help foster a nurturing atmosphere where every child can thrive. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with experienced educators, contribute to early childhood development, and make a positive impact on young learners' lives. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing engaging lesson plans focused on literacy, math, and social-emotional skills. Support classroom management by maintaining a positive environment and encouraging appropriate behavior. Provide one-on-one tutoring or mentoring to students needing extra help with reading, writing, or math concepts. Work with children with disabilities or autism to promote inclusive learning experiences and tailored support. Help organize classroom materials, proofread educational resources, and prepare activities aligned with curriculum standards. Supervise children during transitions, outdoor play, meals, and rest periods to ensure safety and engagement. Collaborate with staff to monitor student progress and communicate effectively with parents about developmental milestones. Experience Prior classroom experience working with young children in early childhood education settings or private schools. Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and Montessori or similar educational philosophies. Familiarity with special education techniques, literacy education, and working with individuals with disabilities or autism. Strong communication skills for mentoring students and collaborating with team members. Experience in tutoring or working one-on-one with children to enhance their academic skills. Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments as a floater or chaser, demonstrating flexibility and initiative. Proven track record of maintaining classroom organization, managing behavior effectively, and supporting inclusive learning environments.
