Behavior Aide/Paraeducator - Support for Special Education Amergis Healthcare Staffing - 3.4 Vallejo, CA Job Details Part-time $640 a week 9 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications CPR Certification English High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking multiple Behavior Aides for K-12 schools in Vallejo, CA. Behavior Aides work one-on-one with students who receive special education or related services, have a 504 plan, or with students in a Special Education Classroom.
Some cases include:
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Pervasive Developmental Disorder Not Otherwise Specified (PDDNOS) Childhood Disintegrative Disorder (CDD) Cerebral Palsy Down Syndrome Various birth disorders
ADD/ADHD
Learning disabilities
Other Location:
Vallejo, CA Schedule:
Monday-Friday (5-6 hours a day between the hours of 7:45am and 3:20pm) Part-time options available
Pay:
$18 an hour starting rate (varies based on experience)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow the instructions of the BCBA/program supervisor Provide behavior assistance/interventions to assigned clients Provide behavior support services Provide crisis intervention Implement behavior plans Provide administrative support to teachers Monitor child development Prepare educational materials Collect and analyze data on student behavior and progress Provide academic assistance Assist with mobility and daily activities Offer social support and help with social skills development Perform other duties as assigned/necessary
Minimum Requirements:
