Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract In this full-time contract opportunity, you'll provide essential support as a Registered Behavior Technician for a local school district throughout the remainder of the 25/26 school year. This role is perfect for those passionate about making a difference in students' lives, especially those with significant behavioral challenges. Your assignment runs from April 13, 2026, through June 11, 2026, working 1:1 with a student who requires both patience and expertise. Preference will be given to male candidates, in alignment with the unique needs of the student.
Qualifications:
Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Previous experience working as a paraprofessional or in school settings is highly desirable Proven ability to implement behavior intervention plans and data collection Strong communication and teamwork skills Capacity to remain calm, compassionate, and consistent in challenging situations Physical ability to actively support students with behavioral needs Dedication to upholding student confidentiality and safety protocols
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 behavioral support to a student with serious behavioral issues Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and educational staff Collect and report data on student progress and behavior Collaborate closely with special education and classroom teachers, therapists, and other school professionals Assist with classroom routines, transitions, and daily activities Maintain thorough documentation and regular communication with the student's team and family
