Job Summary Job Summary A vacancy exists for a Para-Educator w/Signing Skills (SD) in our Special Education DHH Program at Butte Vista School to assist the classroom teacher of deaf and hard or hearing students in all areas as assigned and to assist in maintaining a classroom conducive to learning to ensure programmatic needs are met. Sign language skills to support to support deaf and hard of hearing students and ability to support students in mainstream environments - linking spoken communication to sign. View Job Description Requirements / Qualifications Must have completed one of the following at the time of hiring: 48 semester units of higher education; OR an Associate's degree (or higher); OR passing score on the paraprofessional exam (exam administered at our office - see receptionist for details). Fluent in Sign Language Applications will not be processed unless all required materials have been received on or before the application deadline.
