Autism Paraprofessional/RBT (Registered Behavior Technician)

We offer an evidence-based Interdisciplinary Intervention Model, grounded in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), to provide therapeutic care and educational services to students with significant needs. As a Therapeutic Instructor, you will provide direct educational and behavioral support working individually with students and in small group settings. You will support students in increasing their independence and achieving their educational and behavioral goals. Each student's care is highly individualized and developed by our clinical team consisting of Special Education Teachers, BCBAs OT, Speech and Mental Health clinicians.

provides all the training and supervision necessary to obtain the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential at no cost to the employee. We also provide QBS Safety-Care training that provides the skills and competencies necessary to effectively de-escalate and manage behavioral challenges. COMPENSATION

Compensation starts with an hourly rate of $20.50

• $24.00 per hour (based upon education level and years of experience in the field) and shifts to a salaried rate once the RBT credential is earned. HOURS Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 3:30pm, with the option to add two afternoons per week 3:30pm
• 6:00pm in our afterschool ABA program at a later time.

Breakdown as follows:

Holidays

• 8 paid holidays per year (hourly and salary) Paid Leave

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Be at least 21 years of age Bachelors Degree is preferred but not required Experience working with children with Autism and related populations preferred Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification to be obtained within 90-days of hire Background checks
