Summer Camp Program Aide 1.5 1.5 out of 5 stars Broomfield, CO 80021 $17.50 - $19.50 an hour - Part-time Woodrow Wilson Academy 2 reviews $17.50 - $19.50 an hour - Part-time Report to: Wildcat Care Director Position Summary The Summer Camp Program Aide supports the daily operations of the Wildcat Care Summer Camp by assisting in supervising students, facilitating activities, and helping create a safe, engaging, and positive environment for all participants. Key Responsibilities Assist in supervising students at all times to ensure safety and well-being Support lead staff in implementing daily activities, games, and crafts Help prepare, organize, and clean up activity materials Engage positively with students and encourage participation Assist with transitions (arrival, dismissal, field trips, etc.) Help maintain a clean and organized program space Follow all school policies and safety procedures Communicate respectfully with staff, students, and families Field Trip Support Assist in supervising students during off-site field trips Help ensure all students are accounted for at all times. Follow all safety procedures during transportation and outings Qualifications Must be at least 16 years' old Enjoy working with children Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Ability to follow directions and take initiative Strong communication and interpersonal skills Must successfully complete fingerprinting and a background check (CDEC) prior to employment Must complete 15 hours of required professional development training through online and in-person avenues.
Work Schedule Summer program hours:
7am to 5pm Must be available Monday-Friday during program dates Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and be active for extended periods Ability to assist with outdoor activities in various weather conditions Ability to lift 15 lbs. Additional Expectation Maintain professionalism at all times Serve as a positive role model for students Support a fun, inclusive, and respectful camp environment Wildcat Care is committed to providing a safe, engaging, and enriching summer experience for all students.
