General Purpose:
The Permanent Substitute will provide general assistance and support to teachers and administration. To support our achievement-based group model for reading and math. Elementary Groups Teacher will teach two reading and two math groups independently to include grading, keeping thorough up to date records, and communicating with parents about their child's progress.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Deliver highly effective instruction using a set curriculum to plan daily instructional activities that promote achievement in reading and math. Support school operations. Effectively interact with students in such areas as problem solving, conflict resolution, self-discipline, etc. during non-class time. Supervise and support students in non-instructional areas such as student lunch programs, car line duty, crossing guard duty, actively monitoring recess, and transitions between classes and buildings. Regularly assist with student health, including administration of first aid Provides support to homeroom teachers to include assigned clerical duties, grading, making copies, filing papers, changing bulletin boards, etc. May serve in a substitute role, when necessary, Support the school's mission through fidelity to policies and practices. Work cooperatively with school staff and administration.

Minimum Requirements :
High School diploma AND completion of Substitute Teacher Licensure Substitute Teacher Authorizations | CDE (state.co.us)
