  • 2:30 PM Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the WISC (Widefield Inclusive Social Communication) Program supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
The role focuses on delivering individualized instruction and behavioral/communication support within an inclusive school environment. Key Responsibilities Provide specialized instruction to students with autism and communication needs Implement and manage IEP goals and behavior intervention strategies Support academic, social, and functional skill development Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring Foster a structured, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment Requirements Active Colorado Teaching License or proof of application required Experience or strong understanding of autism spectrum and communication-related behaviors preferred Minimum 3 professional references required (including 2 supervisory contacts) Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
