Ampersand Therapy is hiring full-time Paraprofessionals for a K-12 school setting in Longmont, CO. In this role, you'll provide direct support to students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs, helping them access their education and succeed in the classroom. Why Join Us Competitive pay (Up to $28/hour) + steady school-year schedule W-2 employment with liability insurance included Healthcare benefits• + 401(k) with company match Ongoing support and mentorship Mileage reimbursement between sites + referral bonuses What You'll Do Provide 1:1 or small group support to students in the classroom Assist with implementing behavior plans and classroom strategies Support students with academic tasks and daily routines Help reinforce social, emotional, and communication skills Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers Assist with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment Support students with transitions throughout the school day Maintain basic documentation as needed What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required Experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills Ability to follow direction and support behavior and academic plans School-based or paraprofessional experience a plus About Ampersand Therapy Ampersand Therapy is a women- and therapist-operated company built by providers who understand school-based work.
