$20.00 hourlyHours:
Weekly hours to be determined. Must complete mandatory pre-program staff trainingJob Duties:
Assume primary responsibilities for the day to day operations on and off-site of the summer program including, but not limited to, the following: Provide on-site support and direction to the program associates. Oversee activities, lesson plans and curriculum development. Maintain daily activities records and progress notes. Keep students safe and supervised at all times including transitions, field trips both onsite and off-site. Attend staff meetings and program professional development activities. Communicate regularly with school staff, administration and parents. Distribute and collect program evaluation and other reporting materials as required; Perform related duties as appropriate and assigned. Distribute registration materials for the fall to families and parents. Process payments and related paperwork on a timely basis. Under the direction of the program manager, implement the program and curriculum, rotation of students through activities, and related documentation of their experiences.Qualifications:
CT teaching certificate, Associates degree or coaching certificate highly desirable or have prior satisfactory performance in the ELP program as a leader. Works well and understands children, families and community members. Committed to and interested in promoting the program, and supporting families and children. Possesses excellent organizational and follow-through skills. A high level of dependability. Effective supervisory skills including incident details, lesson planning, problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining an enjoyable and structured program. First Aid/CPR and Administration of Medications Reports to the Program ManagerAPPLICATION PROCESS
