Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Toddler Teacher & Floater to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. We are looking for someone who is looking in making Early Childhood their career. Duties Develop and implement lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment where children feel comfortable expressing themselves. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers. Facilitate daily activities that encourage social interaction, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies. Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the educational experience for all students. Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible. Support children with special needs or disabilities through tailored instructional strategies. Able to lift at least up to 50lbs and to bend and be on the floor with the children. Skills Strong foundation in early childhood education principles. Experience in childcare or caregiving settings, particularly with toddlers. Proficient in behavior management techniques that promote positive interactions. Ability to manage a classroom effectively while maintaining a nurturing atmosphere. Familiarity with special education practices is a plus. Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively. A genuine love for working with young children and supporting their developmental milestones.
