Job Description
Overview We are looking for someone to join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Assistant Toddler Teacher, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help shape the foundational years of our youngest learners. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment tailored specifically for toddlers. Your energy and passion will inspire curiosity, foster social-emotional development, and promote a love for learning in children during their critical early years. Toddler Assistant Teacher Responsibilities:
Work with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning of materials. Tending to students' basic needs by feeding and dressing them. Mediating conflict between students. Occasionally running movement and music circles. Ensuring that the classroom remains safe and conducive to learning at all times. Supervise students in class, between classes, during lunch, and play periods Ensure space and shared toys are clean, sanitized, and orderly. Helping students with potty training.Toddler Teacher Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Clear criminal record. Prior experience working with young children, preferably within a similar setting. Physically fit and able to lift up to 70 pounds. Warm, approachable disposition. Excellent problem-solving skills. A passion for early childhood development. Experience Prior classroom experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development stages and early intervention techniques to support individual learning needs. Demonstrated ability to manage classroom activities efficiently while maintaining a nurturing environment.Pay:
