Preschool Assistant teacher

FMCR is looking for a long term teacher who is passionate about early childhood education . Must have good communication skills, a positive attitude, and experience working with young children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports children's growth and development.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Lead Teacher in the preparation, maintenance, and cleaning of the classroom environment. Monitor the children to ensure their safety and happiness. Manage the classroom when required. Actively supervise children at mealtimes, nap, dismissal, after-school care, outside time/recess, etc. Practice flexibility and willingness to adapt to ever-changing situations.

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Certification in Early Childhood Education or relevant field is beneficial but not required
• Ability to create a supportive and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Utilize effective behavior management techniques to support positive interactions and a conducive learning environment.
• Previous experience working in a preschool or early childhood education setting is advantageous.

Pay will be determined according to experience and qualifications. Hours Monday-Friday 8.30am-1.30pm or 8.30-3.oopm
