Paraeducator, Special Education (4 Positions Available) Full-Time (Union Position) LINKS Academy at Eastbury Programs •The location of your assignment is subject to change based on student needs in the district.

WAGES:

$22.91 per hour/Pay Group

C SCHEDULE

Monday through Friday 10-month position, 31.4 hours per week

DUTIES:

Responsible for the support of students receiving Special Education services across school environments. Duties include supporting students with academic tasks; implementing behavior intervention plans; facilitating social interaction with peers; data collection. Assists students in self-care areas as needed, including but not limited to personal hygiene, toileting, feeding, dressing, mobility and lifting. Performs related duties as required or as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to relate well to students with disabilities, to follow a schedule with flexibility to changes. Must be able to assist students in self-care areas, which may include lifting. Good communication skills are required.
