08/07/2026 The Capitol Region Education Council is seeking a highly qualified paraeducator to work in one of its many summer programs. Located along the shoreline in Clinton, CT, the STRIVE summer program will operate from July 6, 2026, to July 31, 2026. Work hours will be from 7:45 am to 11:45 am, Monday through Friday. The preferred candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working with secondary students (aged 18-22) with disabilities, in addition to 2 years of college credits or a passing score on the ParaPro. Essential Job Functions Duties include guiding students to reinforce , instruct, and develop vocational and life skills. Job coaching /facilitating learning in the local community is required. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to support the delivery of specialized instruction and behavior management with a population of young adults and provide personalized, direct, one-to-one educational instruction.
