Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Assistant Teacher/ Floater to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and educational environment for children, fostering their development through engaging activities and individualized attention. This role requires a strong commitment to early childhood education and the ability to work effectively with children of various ages, including those with special needs. Duties Assist in developing and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development. Provide a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children. Engage children in educational activities that encourage creativity, exploration, and social interaction. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed. Maintain accurate records of children's development and behavior. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive teaching approach. Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual requirements. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Experience Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred. A background in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable. Experience in caregiving or babysitting is beneficial. Familiarity with special education practices is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Knowledge of first aid procedures is advantageous. Experience in toddler care is preferred.
