Position Summary:
The Floater Teacher assists the head teacher in supporting classroom activities, providing individualized attention to children, and helping maintain a positive and organized learning environment. This position requires flexibility, teamwork, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
Duties:
Provide classroom support in 3, 4, and 5-year-old classrooms as needed throughout the day Assist teachers in implementing developmentally appropriate, hands-on learning experiences Support children's cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and languagedevelopment Help facilitate small-group activities, learning centers, and outdoor play Foster positive relationships with children and encourage independence,confidence, and problem-solving skills Assist with classroom routines, transitions, snack time, and cleanup Help maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment at all times Step into classrooms when teachers are absent or require additional support Work with the director to ensure a consistent and positive experience for all children.
