Position Summary:

At Grammy's Garden, we provide a warm, home-away-from-home environment with a strong focus on nature-based, play-centered learning. We are seeking a nurturing, reliable, and energetic Toddler Teacher's Aide to join our team! The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, enjoys working with toddlers, embraces nature-based learning, and thrives as part of a collaborative team. The hours for this position are 11:00AM - 6:00PM Monday through Friday.

What You'll Do:
Create engaging, hands-on learning experiences Foster children's social, emotional and cognitive growth Maintain a safe, nurturing classroom environment Build strong relationships with families
What We're Looking For:
Reliable, consistent attendance Positive and team-oriented mindset Experience in childcare Passion for working with young children Duties include, but are not limited to: Child Supervision and Care Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under supervision. Monitor children's interactions and guide them in positive behaviors. Attend to the basic needs of children, including snacks, hygiene, and rest time Classroom Environment Set up and maintain an engaging, clean, and organized learning space. Use educational materials and toys to support developmental objectives. Observation and Assessment Observe children's progress, behavior, and interactions. Conduct regular assessments to track developmental milestones. Share updates with parents and caregivers through reports and conferences. Parent and Caregiver Communication Build relationships with families and maintain open lines of communication. Provide resources and guidance for supporting children's growth at home. Professional Development and Compliance Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education. Adhere to licensing regulations, safety standards, and school policies. Comfortable using a tablet consistently throughout the day to log children's activities.
