As an Infant Toddler Teacher Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting a dynamic classroom environment where children feel safe, engaged, and inspired to explore, learn, and grow. Working alongside lead teachers, you will help implement developmentally appropriate experiences rooted in a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach that values curiosity, collaboration, and child-led discovery. Your enthusiasm, compassion, and strong communication skills will help create a warm, inclusive atmosphere that supports early development and school readiness. Key Responsibilities Support lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote early literacy, foundational math skills, and social-emotional development Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence Engage children through play, storytelling, and hands-on learning experiences that support developmental milestones Assist with classroom management using positive behavior guidance strategies Collaborate with teachers to support individualized learning plans, including for children with disabilities or developmental differences (e.g., autism spectrum) Communicate regularly with families regarding children's progress, milestones, and daily experiences Assist with daily routines including diapering, feeding, nap time, and hygiene in accordance with health and safety standards Support the implementation of child-centered educational philosophies (Reggio Emilia, Montessori-inspired practices, etc.) Qualifications & Experience Prior experience working with infants and toddlers in an early childhood setting preferred Understanding of child development, including early literacy, math readiness, and behavior management Experience supporting children with special needs or developmental differences is highly valued Strong communication and collaboration skills Familiarity with classroom management and childcare best practices Experience in private school, Reggio Emilia, or Montessori environments is a plus (not required) Why Join Us?
