Job Description

Job Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Toddler Teacher Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our youngest learners. In this role, you will collaborate closely with lead teachers to support the development of toddlers through engaging activities, attentive caregiving, and effective classroom management. Your positive energy and commitment will inspire curiosity and joy in every child's day, ensuring they feel valued and supported as they explore their world. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum focused on childhood development, social skills, and early learning milestones. Provide attentive care to toddlers by supporting their daily routines, including feeding, diapering, and nap times. Engage children in playful learning activities that promote cognitive, motor, and emotional growth. Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized environment that encourages independence and safety. Observe and document individual child progress, behaviors, and needs to inform teaching strategies. Foster positive behavior management techniques to promote cooperation and social interaction among children. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's day-to-day activities and developmental progress. Experience Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or caregiving setting is highly preferred. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development best practices. Experience with classroom management techniques tailored for toddlers and young children. Familiarity with special education needs or working with children with disabilities is a plus. Certification or training in first aid and child CPR is desirable to ensure safety at all times. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators and caregivers. Strong understanding of behavior management strategies suitable for toddlers to foster positive interactions. Pay:
$17.00 - $21.00 per hour
