  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant educational community.
In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for children across early childhood and preschool ages. Your enthusiasm for child development and strong communication skills will help foster a positive classroom atmosphere where every child can thrive. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing curriculum plans aligned with developmental milestones, including literacy, math, and sensory activities Support children with diverse needs, including those with autism, developmental disabilities, or requiring special education accommodations such as Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Facilitate engaging activities that promote social-emotional growth, communication skills, and classroom participation Help manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management techniques Use American Sign Language (ASL) or other communication methods to support non-verbal or minimally verbal children when appropriate Prepare learning materials, assist with lesson planning, and ensure a safe and organized classroom environment Collaborate with colleagues and parents to monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs Experience Prior experience working with children in early childhood education settings such as preschools or private schools Knowledge of childhood development principles and curriculum development for preschool-aged children Experience supporting children with disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or developmental delays is highly desirable Classroom management skills combined with the ability to foster inclusive learning environments Familiarity with Montessori or other specialized educational approaches is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, families, and specialists Demonstrated ability to implement behavior management strategies and adapt activities for diverse learners Join us in shaping young minds through energetic engagement and compassionate support!
