Job Description

PE Assistant Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant to join our team in a dynamic educational environment. The ideal candidate will support the daily operations of our charter school, focusing on early childhood education and fostering a nurturing atmosphere for our students. This role is particularly suited for individuals with a passion for working with young children. Duties Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities tailored to children's developmental needs. Provide care and supervision, ensuring a safe and engaging environment. Support students with diverse learning needs Facilitate small group activities that promote social skills Maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance skills in early childhood education. Qualifications Background in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable. Strong understanding of toddler care principles and practices. Familiarity with lesson planning and curriculum development for young learners. Ability to engage effectively with students of varying abilities, particularly those requiring special support. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff. A genuine passion for educating young children and contributing positively to their growth and development.
