Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent No experience needed. DCF 45
Hours Test Background Checks License/Certification:
CPR Certification (Preferred) Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing classroom activities. Help prepare materials, centers, and supplies needed for daily learning. Support children during circle time, learning centers, and group activities. Follow the curriculum and classroom schedule consistently. Child Supervision & Care Always ensure the safety and supervision of all children. Assist with toileting, diaper changing, and hygiene routines as needed. Encourage positive behavior and help children learn social skills. Provide emotional support and help children feel comfortable and secure. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment. Follow all childcare licensing rules, health policies, and center procedures. Report any concerns about a child's behavior, development, or safety to the Lead Teacher or Director immediately. Communicate skills needed to support children, families, and staff. Maintain confidentiality of all children and families. Participate in staff meetings and trainings as required. Work as part of a team.
