Full-time Primary School Teachers Assistant

Leading independent school in Miami Beach seeks a candidate with teaching experience for a primary school self-contained classroom. The school has small class sizes with a 1:15 class ratio. The Primary School Assistant Teacher will be expected to follow the school's curriculum and ensure that goals and objectives are met in a timely fashion. The assistant teacher will engage a variety of instructional approaches to match the skill(s) being taught as well as to maintain student interest (e.g., hands-on instruction, direct instruction, computer-assisted instruction, interdisciplinary instruction, etc.). Administrative support is provided.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in the field preferred. 2. Minimum two years of teaching experience in Primary/Elementary grades. 3. Successful completion of Florida Department of Law Enforcement background screening. 4. Team player - - willingness to collaborate, share, and be flexible.
