Bilingual Toddler Teacher Assistant Hourly rate is $14/hr-$16/hr, depending on educational background and experience.

Toddler Guide & Head of School Starting in August The Bilingual Toddler Teacher Assistant supports children ages [18 months-3 years] in a warm, prepared environment that nurtures independence, language, and a love of learning. Speaking both Spanish and English throughout the day, this assistant helps our youngest learners develop confidence, communication, and self-care skills, while serving as a vital language bridge between our Spanish-speaking toddler guide, families, and staff. Key Responsibilities Support the lead guide, in maintaining a calm, prepared environment for toddlers. Provide translation between Spanish and English for parents and staff as needed, ensuring clear communication across our community. Engage children in both Spanish and English through conversation, songs, and stories. Help children build independence with eating, toileting, dressing, and self-care. Nurture social and emotional growth by modeling kindness, patience, and respect. Partner with families and colleagues to support each child's development. Compensation & Benefits Hourly rate is $14/hr-$16/hr, depending on educational background and experience. Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken) — comfortable translating between the two. High school diploma or equivalent (required). Montessori background preferred but not necessary. Willingness to complete or already hold CPR/First Aid certification and 45-hour DCF training. Self-motivation, reliability, and professionalism in working with staff, children, and families.
