Toddler Teacher Assistant Salary:
$14.00 - $16.00 per hour (based on experience) Reports to: Lead Teacher & Head of School The Toddler Teacher Assistant supports children ages 18 months to 3 years in a warm, prepared environment that nurtures independence and a love of learning. Working alongside the lead guide, this assistant helps our youngest learners develop confidence, communication, and self-care skills. Key Responsibilities Support the lead guide in maintaining a calm, prepared environment for toddlers. Engage children through conversation, songs, and stories. Help children build independence with eating, toileting, dressing, and self-care. Nurture social and emotional growth by modeling kindness, patience, and respect. Partner with families and colleagues to support each child's development.
Compensation & Benefits Salary:

High school diploma or equivalent (required). Montessori background preferred, but not necessary Willingness to complete or already hold CPR/First Aid certification and 45-hour DCF training. Self-motivation, reliability, and professionalism in working with staff, children, and families.
