Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Instructor specializing in Medical Assistant training with expertise in Phlebotomy and EKG procedures and/or CNA and HHA experiece. This role involves delivering engaging classroom instruction, supervising clinical practice sessions, and developing comprehensive curricula to prepare students for successful careers in healthcare. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching, extensive clinical experience, and a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient care. Duties Deliver comprehensive lectures and practical training on medical assisting, phlebotomy, and EKG techniques using current learning technology platforms. Supervise students during clinical practice sessions in simulated or real healthcare environments, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards Develop, review, and update curriculum content to reflect the latest industry standards, research developments, and accreditation requirements Assess student performance through examinations, practical evaluations, and documentation review to ensure competency in core skills such as patient care, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology Facilitate adult education sessions. Maintain detailed records of student progress, clinical hours, and compliance documentation in accordance with institutional policies Qualifications Proven experience in teaching higher education courses or adult education programs within medical assisting or related healthcare fields Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, nursing practices, and patient care procedures Familiarity with learning technology platforms. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
