Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster a love of learning, promote social-emotional development, and ensure a safe and positive classroom experience for every child. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, and curriculum development. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping children develop social skills through effective behavior management strategies. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and physical growth, including toddler care and Montessori-inspired methods. Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to safety regulations and promotes optimal learning conditions. Work closely with children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or on the autism spectrum, providing individualized support as needed. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to foster a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. Assist in documenting children's progress and behavior for ongoing assessment and reporting purposes. Requirements Prior experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education techniques, and classroom management strategies. Familiarity with special education practices, behavior management, and working with individuals with disabilities or autism. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, math activities, and curriculum development. Experience with Montessori methods or private school environments is a plus. Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for working with children of various ages, including toddlers. Join us in shaping bright futures!
