Full Job Description Job Summary:
Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational activities, managing the classroom, and supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of kindergarten students. Key Responsibilities Assist the lead teacher with lesson preparation and classroom activities. Supervise students during class, recess, lunch, and field trips. Help children with learning tasks, projects, and educational games. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment. Support positive behavior management and classroom rules. Assist with attendance, recordkeeping, and other administrative tasks. Help students with personal needs, such as handwashing, dressing, and restroom routines. Communicate professionally with teachers, staff, and parents as directed. Observe student progress and share concerns with the lead teacher. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Experience working with young children preferred. Knowledge of child development and classroom management techniques. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Patience, creativity, and a caring attitude. Ability to pass required background checks and meet state licensing requirements.
