Alpha Omega Learning Center - 4.0 Safety Harbor, FL Job Details Part-time | Full-time $15 - $16 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications School experience CPR Certification Personal service experience with children High school diploma or GED Working with students Child Development Associate Certification Full Job Description We are a growing Christian preschool hiring for a Part Time opening for an Assistant Teacher/Floater for our preschool classes and School Age before/after care program with the hours being Monday-Friday hours ranging from 12:00pm-5:30pm . This position will be working with children ages 1 year-5 years, as well as in our after school program with school aged children. We are looking for candidates with a strong work ethic, who are excellent with children and have an upbeat attitude. We offer a very positive work environment, And are looking to fill this position with someone whose ready to join a great team! Previous work experience in a preschool environment is preferred, but not required! We will train if we feel the candidate shows a love and passion for working with children!

Qualifying candidates must:

Be at least 18 years of age and have graduated high school or equivalent Must obtain 10 In-Service hours annually Must Obtain 45 Clock Hours Certifications within 90 days of employment Level 2 background screening clearance provided by the Florida Department of Children and Families is required upon hiring. Flexible in job assignment. This position will be bouncing from room to room helping out in all areas.

Job duties would include:

Assisting all teachers in daily activities Implementing the daily program for the children that are in your care based on the developmental growth of each child. Assist and teach the children to think independently, and to respect themselves and others.
