In this role, you will collaborate closely with lead guides to create a stimulating, supportive, and respectful learning environment rooted in Montessori principles. Responsibilities Support the lead Montessori guide in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with Montessori methodology for children aged 3-6 Assist in preparing classroom materials and setting up engaging activities that promote literacy, math, sensory exploration, and social-emotional development Supervise and interact with children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and transitions to ensure safety and positive behavior management Foster a nurturing environment by mentoring students, encouraging independence, and supporting individual learning needs, including working with students with disabilities or autism Maintain clear communication with students, colleagues, and parents regarding progress, behavior, and classroom events Contribute to maintaining an organized classroom environment that supports Montessori practices and promotes student engagement Participate in ongoing professional development related to early childhood education, special education strategies, behavior management, and Montessori pedagogy Requirements Prior experience working with young children in educational or childcare settings; classroom experience preferred Knowledge of Montessori principles and early childhood development best practices Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members Experience working with individuals with disabilities or autism is a plus Demonstrated ability in classroom management and behavior guidance techniques Background in special education, literacy education, math instruction or tutoring is advantageous Passion for mentoring children and fostering their social-emotional growth Relevant certifications or coursework in early childhood education or childhood development are desirable Join us in inspiring young learners through a dynamic and supportive environment that values creativity, independence, and holistic growth.
