Job Description
Playful Scholars Academy - St. Cloud, FL Playful Scholars Academy is seeking a dependable, energetic, and nurturing Teacher Assistant to support our STEM-focused learning environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, supporting hands-on learning experiences, and being part of a creative educational community. At PSA, we believe learning should be engaging, interactive, and fun while helping scholars build confidence, creativity, and academic skills. Responsibilities Assist the teacher with implementing daily lesson plans and activities Support scholars during academic instruction and STEM activities Help maintain a positive, safe, and organized learning environment Provide classroom management support and student supervision Assist with preparing classroom materials and learning stations Encourage student participation, collaboration, and creativity Communicate professionally with staff and families Support transitions, snack/lunch times, and daily routines Assist with student projects, enrichment activities, and special events Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Experience working with children preferred Positive attitude and strong communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff Dependable, flexible, and organized Passion for education and hands-on learning Must be able to pass a Level 2 Background Check About Playful Scholars Academy Playful Scholars Academy is a STEM-focused learning center dedicated to creating engaging educational experiences where scholars learn through creativity, exploration, and hands-on activities.
