Teacher Assistants play a critical role in helping students win, belong, and love school again by providing instructional, behavioral, and organizational support in a small, nurturing learning environment. CES Academy is a fully accredited private K-12 school through Cognia and is part of Children's Educational Services (CES) , a faith-based organization committed to championing students through personalized education, strong support systems, and faith-based values.

https://www.ces-schools.net/st-petersburg/ Work Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Key Responsibilities Support the lead teacher with daily classroom instruction and activities Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce lessons and skill development Help create and maintain a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment Assist with classroom management, organization, and transitions Support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs Monitor student progress and communicate observations to the teacher and support team Build positive relationships with students, families, teachers, and staff Uphold CES Academy's values, ethics, and commitment to student success Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives

Qualifications Required:

Associate's degree or Five (5) years of classroom experience in an educational setting Paraprofessional certification Candidates must be eligible to clear and maintain a background screening in the State of Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Preferred:
