Job Description

Garden Montessori School is seeking a Lead Certified Montessori Early Childhood (3 yrs -6 yrs old.) teacher who is a loving, talented, and committed individual who is dedicated to the Montessori philosophy. Excellent communication skills with adults and children and the ability to work as part of a team to create a stimulating and challenging environment for all learners. The position is Monday thru Friday (8:00 am - 4:00 pm) August thru May for Full Time for Lead 3-6 teacher. Assitants hours may vary.
Experience and Education:
Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred or equivalent professional experience. Must be AMS, AMI or MACTE Montessori Certified or in Training Prior Montessori experience for lead teacher and assistants preferred Specific requirements set by minimum Florida state standards and/or our accreditation.

Lead Montessori Teacher (Ages 3-6) - Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain an authentic Montessori classroom that fosters independence, curiosity, concentration, and a love of learning. Present Montessori lessons and guide individualized learning experiences based on each child's developmental needs and interests. Observe, assess, and document student progress, adapting lessons and classroom support as needed. Maintain accurate lesson planning, student records, and observations using Transparent Classroom . Foster a safe, nurturing, and respectful classroom community while supporting positive social-emotional development. Communicate regularly with families through conferences, emails, Transparent Classroom, and weekly classroom newsletters . Collaborate with colleagues and administration to support curriculum development, student success, and school initiatives. Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children while upholding Montessori principles and school policies.
