Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Position Summary The County Extension Program Assistant position will perform duties necessary to assist the county extension agents in the day to day conduct of programs. Duties will include answering phone calls and helping 4-H and Agricultural assignments. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies Strong organizational and other soft-skills, working knowledge of office practices and procedures.
Ability to use independent judgment and discretion with confidential information.
Works with limited supervision. Physical Demands Pack and move boxes, handle equipment, load, and unload vehicles.
Travel to events.

Duties/Responsibilities Duties/Responsibilities Assist in Facilitating in the County 4-H Program
Assist 4-H'ers in preparation for 4-H competitive events including project achievement, judging teams, etc.
Transport or arrange for transportation of 4-H'ers to various district and state level events and if assigned, provide leadership for youth while attending these events. Incorporate the results of program evaluations and feedback in planning future programs and techniques used in implementing programs. Percentage of time 50
Duties/Responsibilities Help Implement Educational Ag Programs
Maintain office hours to assist clientele and conduct day to day operations.
Assist clientele with access to Extension resources and services including: printed publications, online content, other educational materials and sample submission for all diagnostic services (e.g. soil and water tests, feed and animal waste analysis, radon testing). Percentage of time 40
