IPCP is looking for Assistant Toddler Teachers to join our 2026-2027 teaching team and be a part of our unique nature-based learning environment for children ages 1 - 5 years old.
Minimum requirements:
Candidates with Minimum of High School Diploma, Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred. Candidates have at least 2 years experience working with children, be at least 21 years of age, have the ability to sit on the floor and interact with children, ability to hear and see children, lift and carry at least 40 lbs., and walk and run with ease. Additionally, candidate must possess strong communication skills, a commitment to team-teaching and teaching excellence, and to collaborating within a diverse community. Candidate must be flexible and have an ability to implement the Creative Curriculum and an early childhood nature-based curriculum and also be skilled at engaging children in an overall emergent curriculum. Candidate must be flexible and reliable, and have a warm and supportive attitude towards children, families and colleagues.
Preferred:
Candidates with Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred. Knowledge and experience in nature and outdoor education, Conscious Discipline, and/or the Creative Curriculum as well as an understanding of cooperative preschool environments.
Details :
This is a part‑time position that begins on July 27, 2026 and continues through the 2026-2027 school year . This position is eligible for the benefits listed, including paid time off, holiday pay, and medical, vision, and dental insurance. We're looking for someone who is ready to join our team, support our classrooms, and be part of a warm, collaborative school community.
