Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves implementing engaging lesson plans, managing classroom dynamics, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. A strong understanding of early childhood education principles, is preferred. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and promote learning through play. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity. Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a safe and productive learning atmosphere. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Provide individualized support for children with diverse needs, including those on the autism spectrum. Ensure the health and safety of all children in your care through vigilant supervision and adherence to daycare regulations. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and share best practices in early childhood education. Maintain an organized classroom that is conducive to learning and exploration. Requirements Paraprofessional certificate, associates in ECE, CDA, or TCC in Education or a related field is preferred. Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development for preschool-aged children. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff. Knowledge of classroom management techniques. Familiarity with BFTS educational philosophies is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. A genuine love for working with young children and supporting their growth and development.
