Afternoon Assistant

Job Summary We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate assistant to support our educational team in providing a positive learning environment. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about working with children, particularly those between the ages between 6 weeks to 5 years. The Assistant will play a crucial role in lesson planning, curriculum development, and behavior management, ensuring that each student receives the individualized attention they require to thrive. We will provide all training. Responsibilities Collaborate with teachers to develop engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of students. Support students in classroom activities, promoting an inclusive and supportive atmosphere. Manage classroom behavior effectively, implementing strategies that promote positive interactions. Provide communication between students, parents, and other teachers Participate in curriculum development and adapt materials as necessary for diverse learners. Provide assistance in daycare settings when required, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all children. You will be expected to clean and keep things sanitized according to state rules You will be serving food, you will be required to follow state rules for food safety Indoor and outdoor safety rules and guidelines must be followed Potty training & diaper changes Skills Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning environment. Strong communication skills to educate and engage with students, parents, and colleagues. Experience working with students in daycare settings is a plus. A passion for education and dedication to supporting diverse learners is essential.
