Job Description

Overview Program Assistants support the needs of adults with special needs during the Midland Kru day program's routine and special activities that occur on-site and in community settings. The position is supervised by Program Coordinator(s) and works cooperatively as an engaged team member with other Program Assistants on duty. Duties may be assigned with other programs of the nonprofit agency that are designed to support personal development, individual goals, vocational opportunities and community connectivity. Responsibilities Support needs of adults with special needs during the daily schedule and routines. Prepare for activities as directed; clean-up and organize materials after activities. Participate in health, safety and cleanliness duties and rules in the Community House. Comply with the policies, procedures and best practices of Bloom Enterprises. Be professional and exhibit mature, dependable & cooperative teamwork behaviors. Have a current driver's license. Communicate in an effective and timely manner with supervisor and team members.
