Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manage the classroom program Create and follow weekly lesson plans Assist with diapering or potty training as appropriate Conduct child observations and maintain developmental records Communicate positively and professionally with parents and staff Work with Director and families to address behavioral or academic concerns Maintain accurate records and daily attendance Provide daily meal headcount Follow posted classroom schedule at all times Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free classroom Participate in center events Assist in training staff Perform additional duties as assigned Physical Requirements Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds from floor to standing Must be able to sweep, mop, clean, and disinfect daily Must be able to hear and see clearly to respond quickly to children's needs Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Must be familiar with Bright from the Start Rules and Regulations Must pass a clear background check Must be loving, caring, nurturing, and professional Must maintain a positive attitude and strong teamwork skills Benefits 12 Paid Holidays starting immediately Paid Birthday Off Quarterly Performance Bonuses 5 Sick Days accrued from start with cash-out option for unused days Paid Vacation After 1 Year
