You will assist in teaching them important elements that they will encounter soon after they enter school life. An Assistant Preschool teacher must have a great love and patience for children. We are looking for an energetic, passionate, fun, and loving educator who will enjoy seeing the amazing progress of young children as they explore their new world. Our goal is to contribute to the healthy mental, physical, social/emotional, and academic development of every child.
Desired Knowledge and Experience:
High school degree & higher Need to meet basic requirements of local childcare regulatory agency Have a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a licensed early childhood facility and 1 years of being in a preschool classroom setting
Responsibilities:
Assistant Preschool teacher should help the lead teacher in employing a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media, etc.) Working in sync and create a harmonious rhythm with another teacher in the classroom Should be available to attend training, staff meetings, and company activities Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments Have the desire to expand your professional development initiatives Assistant Preschool teacher should help the lead teacher in guiding the children to develop their academic, artistic, and practical capabilities via implementation of our curriculum suitable for preschool children Supervise children to ensure they are always safe Shall maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
Requirements:
Learn and be knowledgeable about and comply with all licensing rules/ guidelines such as Quality Rated Help with posting updates daily to parents via parent engagement app Implement the Academy's philosophy, mission, goals, and objectives Help with meeting the intellectual and emotional needs of each child by using only positive guidance Have the ability to kneel, stoop, squat, and be actively engaged with children Have a hands-on approach while observing children indoor or outdoor Speak, read, and write English fluently Ability to lift up to ~ 40 pounds Not be on the personal phone as it is a distraction to both the teacher and children

Be dependable, punctual, and reliable Works well with others Excellent communication and instructional skills Demonstrate an organized, neat, and clean classroom Appropriately monitors and manages the behavior of all students Ability to act as a mediator between children Cool-tempered, friendly, patient, and passionate Knows the balance between a creative mind and a practical acumen
