This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to support classroom activities across various age groups and educational settings. As a key team member, you will assist lead teachers in creating engaging, inclusive, and nurturing environments that promote early childhood development, literacy, math skills, and social-emotional growth. Duties Support lead teachers in implementing curriculum plans focused on early childhood education, literacy, math, and behavior management strategies Assist with classroom management to maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating environment for children of diverse needs, including those with disabilities or autism Engage children in educational activities, tutoring sessions, and mentoring opportunities to enhance their learning experiences Help with classroom setup, materials preparation, proofreading of instructional content, and maintaining educational records Provide individualized support for students requiring extra assistance or behavioral guidance Collaborate with staff to monitor student progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians about developmental milestones Participate in ongoing training related to special education techniques, and childhood development best practices Skills Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and classroom management techniques Experience working with children with disabilities or autism is highly desirable Proficiency in literacy education, math instruction, tutoring, and behavior management strategies Excellent communication skills for mentoring students and collaborating with team members Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners Attention to detail for proofreading instructional materials and maintaining accurate records Compassionate demeanor with a passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development Join us in making a meaningful difference in young learners' lives!
