This role is primarily focused on teaching and creating a nurturing, engaging, and supportive learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate has a genuine love for working with children, strong leadership qualities, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. While teaching is the primary responsibility, candidates should also be willing to support administrative and operational duties and step into a leadership support role when needed. This position is also a great opportunity for individuals interested in growing into future leadership roles, as the Assistant Director responsibilities provide valuable career development and advancement opportunities within our school. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Educate children on basic academic concepts such as numbers, letters, shapes, and colors through interactive activities. Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive social interactions among students. Assess and document children's progress and development regularly to tailor instruction to individual needs. Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns in a professional manner. Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Requirements Experienced in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively. Experience in education administration is an asset for overseeing classroom operations. Familiarity with budgeting and strategic planning as it relates to classroom resources and activities is beneficial. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. A genuine passion for educating young children and fostering their growth in a supportive environment. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
