Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support the development and well-being of infants by creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Your enthusiasm for working with young children will help foster their growth, curiosity, and social skills during their earliest years. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and physical development of infants. Provide attentive care to infants, including feeding, diapering, dressing, and comforting as needed. Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment conducive to learning and exploration. Engage with children through play, storytelling, music, and other interactive activities that stimulate early development. Observe and document individual progress and behaviors to inform teaching strategies and communicate with parents or guardians. Follow health and safety protocols rigorously, including first aid procedures when necessary, to ensure the well-being of all children. Collaborate with team members to plan daily routines that support developmental milestones specific to infants and toddlers. Experience Prior experience working with infants or in a daycare setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education is highly valued. Experience with classroom management techniques that foster positive behavior and social skills among young children. Familiarity with special education needs or working with children with disabilities is a plus. Certification in first aid and CPR is desirable; ongoing training in caregiving or early childhood education is encouraged. Previous nannying or babysitting experience involving infants or toddlers will be considered an asset. Join us to nurture the next generation of curious minds! Pay:
$14.00 - $16.00 per hour
