  • Full-time, Contract Assistant Infant/Toddler Teacher Prime Care Learning Center is a family chain of Private Early Learning schools in Georgia and has been operating since 1993.

Teachers should be able to do the following responsibilities: Interact with infants and toddlers to gauge their individual personalities and abilities Speak to all infants and toddlers using 2 or more foreign languages. Create and implement educational lesson plans for infants and toddlers under care Design and implement lesson plans based on each child's intellectual and developmental growth. Respond to each child's physical and social needs in a proactive manner. Communicate effectively with infants, toddlers, their parents, and other staff. Provide quality, nurturing care to infants and toddlers enrolled in the program. Demonstrate skills to properly address developmental needs of infants and toddlers. Maintain effective, working relationships with children, parents, and staff. Adapt well with classroom activities, assignments and/or materials (e.g. art projects, computer, language skills, etc.) for the purpose of supporting and reinforcing classroom goals and objectives. Ensure that each child's hygiene needs are met promptly. Teach sign language to infants not yet capable of communicating their needs. Encourage infants to use and develop their muscles by engaging them in educational play.

Full-time Qualifications Experience in infant and toddler care and early childhood education Strong classroom management and teaching skills Knowledge of child development and toddler care Certification in first aid and CPR Familiarity with special education practices and working with children with disabilities Proficient in computer skills for documentation and communication Previous experience in daycare or preschool settings
