Teachers should be able to do the following responsibilities: Interact with infants and toddlers to gauge their individual personalities and abilities Speak to all infants and toddlers using 2 or more foreign languages. Create and implement educational lesson plans for infants and toddlers under care Design and implement lesson plans based on each child's intellectual and developmental growth. Respond to each child's physical and social needs in a proactive manner. Communicate effectively with infants, toddlers, their parents, and other staff. Provide quality, nurturing care to infants and toddlers enrolled in the program. Demonstrate skills to properly address developmental needs of infants and toddlers. Maintain effective, working relationships with children, parents, and staff. Ensure that each child's hygiene needs are met promptly. Teach sign language to infants not yet capable of communicating their needs.
