Job Description
Overview We are seeking dedicated and compassionate PT & FT Instructors to support adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). These vital roles involve empowering individuals to achieve greater independence, enhance their quality of life, and participate actively in their communities. The ideal candidates will possess a strong commitment to person-centered care, excellent communication skills, and experience in this field. These positions offer an opportunity to make a meaningful difference through direct support, skill development, and community engagement. These are not desk or center-based jobs. Responsibilities Provide personalized support to adults with IDD in daily living activities, caring for their homes, volunteering and exploring their community. Facilitate and promote independence and social skills development and community integration through engaging activities and outings. Collect and document data related to person-centered goal progress, health status, and daily services. Support individuals, as needed, with household tasks such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and transportation to appointments or community events. Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and team members to develop individualized plans that promote independence and safety. Qualifications Patience, positive outlook and energy. Minimum 1 year experience working with adult with developmental disabilities. Ability to read and legibly write English and use good communication skills. Ability to use American Sign Language a plus. Prior home and community care experience involving caregiving, assisting with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), and data collection. Ability to operate a vehicle safely for transportation purposes; valid driver's license and good driving record required. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster trust and rapport with clients and their families. - FT M-F 8A4PExperience taking adults with IDD into the community to volunteer, exercise and learn new things. MUST be willing to drive a company mini-van within one hour of Tucker office, including downtown and interstates. Program Assistant

$15.00- $20.
