Start Date:
July 30, 2026 Duties Assist classroom teachers with lesson planning and instructional activities across various subjects, including literacy, math, and early childhood education. Support students' individual learning needs by providing one-on-one or small group instruction, especially for students with disabilities or autism. Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive classroom behavior and maintain a respectful learning environment. Help supervise children during classroom activities, recess, lunch, and other school-related events to ensure safety and engagement. Support classroom organization by preparing materials, setting up learning stations, and maintaining a clean and orderly environment. Collaborate with teachers to develop curriculum adaptations that meet the needs of diverse learners, including preschoolers and toddlers. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to support student progress and address any concerns promptly. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in educational settings such as daycare, preschool, private schools, or similar environments is preferred. Knowledge of special education strategies and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with childhood development principles. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers and students Ability to manage classroom activities confidently while maintaining a positive demeanor. Experience working with individuals with autism or disabilities is highly valued.
Pay:
$21.00 - $25.00 per hour
